Setup your pc or network with a better way to control your internet. OpenDNS provides a large cache to make your dns lookups faster as well as parental controls to set blocks on undesired content. There is even some new work toward blocking access to botnet domains to allow you to keep tabs on your systems and know if they have been infected.
